This place was so nice for a change in authentic Mexican food. Service was an A plus, good was plentiful and very good!

It's about 6:30pm and I am with a group of 13 after our Sunday service at the Kingdom Hall. We were able to all be seated at one table. I came in late so I pulled a chair from another table and sat at the end. Had to remove the napkin box from the center to make room.
We got three waitresses, so our drinks were served fast. Then one waitress took all of our orders. Within 10 minutes, the plates started arriving. We got our food fast. The plates were looking most delicious!
She did not give us tickets for the meals. We went to the register and told them what our meals were and the charges were totaled up respectively. I paid cash this time and gave the waitress her tip, as she was standing next to the register. She was very sweet and kind. She brought us more tortillas, chips and salsa too. Most of the orders were Mexican dishes, one was a filet of fish and another was a hamburger. But we all had our meals at the same time and enjoyed a wonderful evening out with great fellowship.
I did utilize the facilities and they need to remain clearer; there was toilet paper on the floor.
And the pastry box by the register was dull, not well presented.
I did enjoy eating my meal and I finished my plate too.

This little restaurant is very authentic! The flavor was amazing in everything we ate. I had the chicken quesadilla plate. It came with refried beans and rice with guacamole.  Of course with chicken fajita meat be aware it is greasy so the quesadilla isn't going to hold up well but the flavor is amazing! Their sides were just addr good and be warned the salsa is warmer than ot looks!  Hubby got el pastor and let me try a bite and wow I have never tasted el pastor that read that good and flavorful!

The staff was very sweet, too. This place is a must try! If we lived here I would be in trouble! Eat well!

So first and foremost, I give this place a 1 Star since I can't rate it lower. Next when you first walk in the whole ambience is weird. We sit down and order our drinks. Waitress seems like she's annoyed were there, but whatever it's end of the day on Saturday. She comes back with our drinks and chips with salsa. Everyone at the table thanks her individually. No response. Once again whatever. She takes our order and leaves. While we're eating our chips, my wife notices a GIANT palmetto bug aka water bug aka American COCKROACH on the wall behind us. Already ruined our food before it came. About 10 minutes after we ordered, our food came out. I got my order, (taquitos Mexicanos and street tacos, and a shrimp cocktail) and looking at it I was impressed on portion size. But man, was it bad. I tried the shrimp first. First bite tasted like chemical like a cleaning detergent, then you notice the gross taste of frozen shrimp, then the horrendous after taste of whatever sauce it's in. It was BAD. the tacos were okay at best. Maybe I was spoiled living in San Antonio for 3 years prior to moving here, but I've had better tacos come from a trailer in an auto zones parking lot. After about 30 minutes, the waitress comes out and asks if there's anything we need. At this point I just want the bill. It took her longer to bring me my check than it took for my food to come out. Afterwards it took her an additional almost 30 minutes to bring my card and receipt back. EXCEPT now that she's expecting a tip she stands right next to me until I'm done signing. I leave her a small tip ONLY because she stood next to me the whole time while I signed and let me tell you, her breath was FOUL! All in all, bad experience with the restaurant, service, and food. If you absolutely HAVE to come here order the crackers (they come prepackaged) and limonada.

Ate there for lunch.  The person who seated us never said a word nor looked at us.  The waitress was unsmiling.  It kind of seemed like maybe they didn't want us there.  The food was okay - nothing special, but it wasn't bad.  The only complaint would be that it wasn't piping hot, only semi-warm.  Average prices.  Dull decorating.  Good parking.  We won't go back.
